Terms
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Beyond The Realm Ltd (“we”) for using Gigly. By creating an account you agree to them. They're written to be read, so please do.
1. What Gigly is
Gigly is an online tool for artists who book their own work: a calendar, contacts, offers, contracts, invoices, day sheets, press kits and simple accounts. It helps you run your bookings. It isn't an agent, it doesn't find you work, and it isn't a party to any agreement you make with a promoter or client.
2. Your account
- You need to be 18 or over and give a real email address.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account, including by team members you invite.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
3. Free trial, plans and payment
- Every new account gets a 14-day free trial. No card is needed to start it.
- Plans are Core £9 a month or £90 a year, Plus £19 a month or £190 a year, Max £29 a month or £290 a year. What each plan includes is shown on the plans page in Settings.
- Plans are paid in advance by card through Stripe and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. If you add a card during your trial, the first payment is taken when the trial ends.
- You can move to a bigger plan at any time; Stripe charges the difference for the rest of the period. Moving to a smaller plan works the same way, with the difference credited to your next payment.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part-used periods, except where the law says we must.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and Gigly keeps working. If it still can't be taken, or when a trial ends without a plan, your account is paused: nothing is deleted, the links you've sent keep working, and picking a plan opens everything up again.
- We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of your plan.
4. Your content
- Everything you add stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the people you choose to share it with (for example, a promoter opening a contract link), only so that Gigly can work.
- Only add information you're allowed to use, including other people's contact details and photos you have the rights to.
- You can download all of it at any time (Settings, then Account, then Download my data) and delete it by deleting your account.
5. Contracts, invoices and other documents
Gigly's contract sections and wording are a starting point, written to be fair and in plain English. They are not legal advice, and we can't know your situation. You choose what goes in each contract and invoice and you're responsible for them, including VAT and tax. If a booking is large or unusual, have a solicitor look at it. Typed signatures through Gigly are valid electronic signatures under UK law.
6. Looking after other people's details
When you keep details of promoters, clients, venues or crew in Gigly, you decide what's kept and why, and we look after it for you. In data protection terms you're the controller and we're your processor. We will: only use those details to run Gigly for you and as you instruct; keep them confidential and secure; use only the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, under written terms as protective as these; help you answer anyone who asks about their details; tell you without delay if they're put at risk; and delete them when you delete your account. These promises are our data processing agreement with you.
7. Fair use
Don't use Gigly to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, upload anything harmful, or try to get into other accounts or overload the service. We may suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.
8. Keeping Gigly running
We work to keep Gigly available and your information safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or if a provider has problems. Keep your own copies of contracts and invoices you need for your records: you can download them as PDFs at any time.
9. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits what the law doesn't let us limit, such as responsibility for death or injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
- Otherwise, we're not responsible for lost bookings, fees, profits or business, or for what you agree with promoters and clients. Our total responsibility to you in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in those 12 months.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling your plan or deleting your account. We can end it with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms. Either way you'll have the chance to download your data first, unless the law stops us.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Gigly grows. If a change matters, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree.
12. Law and questions
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. Questions or complaints: contact us using the details on our website.
